Great location.

My wife and stopped here en route to Northumberland, the staff on reception were excellent, very helpful and full of advice. I'm the other hand the middle aged bar woman was rude, short (not height) and miserable. I got the impression she didn't to be there!
Restaurant. The young waitress didn't have a clue, we were shown to our table and left there, no offer of water, it was 15 minutes before someone came to ask if we needed anything, a further 10 minutes before another waitress took our order and only then because I called someone over. A other 45 minutes until before the food arrived. The 3 waitresses were walking backwards and towards passing customers tables that could have been cleared as they passed them! Another couple sitting close to us waited an hour before their meals arrived.
