Welcoming hotel

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and always enjoyed our stay.
Unfortunately on this visit the room was initially very cold, however this was resolved, and after a call to reception, the heating was turned on. We were disappointed the pool was closed on the day of our visit, due to safety issues. We were booked for our evening meal at 7.30pm and at 8pm no food or drinks had arrived! There were a lot of items on the menu that were unavailable, the waiter saying the menu was changing the next day. We waiting an unacceptable amount of time for the meal still being sat at the dining room table at 9.30pm. The drinks, we felt were very overpriced.
We did make our feelings know and on checkout we had an adjustment made to our bill.
Despite these issues, because we have stayed in the past, we would be prepared to give the hotel another try.
