"Traditional hotel"

This is our second stay, we visited with friends Summer 23, when we each had a bottle of Prosecco as part of our package. We enjoyed it in the lovely gardens in front of the hotel. We have just recently stayed again, as we were going to an event at the Royal Hall, which is literally three minutes walk away. The hotel is in easily walking distance to the shops, Restaurants and bars. The staff once again, were friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. The hotel has a traditional, old world feeling about. We will most definitely be visiting again

Room was clean and adequate though 'tired'. Dinner was disappointing - undercooked hard chips and cold plates, sorted quickly. Friendly staff. Would not have booked if we'd realized it was a cashless site.
"Beautiful Hotel"
KB, Northumberland, stayed: January 2024 Stayed at the Old Swan for a 2 night break for a 60th birthday. On request, the complimentary bottle of sparkling wine was replaced by a bottle of red. Rooms were lovely. Second night we had no hot water, called reception and within 10mins we had been moved to a different room. Staff were very accommodating. Breakfast was lovely.
