"Family matters"
Anon, stayed: August 2024 We had to stay in Harrogate for family reasons. The Swan gave us an ideal position in town and pleasant surroundings. Staff were helpful and informative.
"1920s charm"
MS, Lincolnshire, stayed: July 2024 We visited Harrogate as part of our Agatha Christie trail, visiting places where the author is known to have lived or visited. We found the Old Swan charming and unspoiled and enjoyed our short stay. The food in the restaurant for our evening meal was very good and we were well looked after by the hotel staff. All in all, a good visit, we would stay there again.
"Relaxing break."
DB, Lancashire, stayed: July 2024 Over all pleasant and relaxing break .Thought some staff dress appearance abit untidy. For a hotel of it's stature. Staff pleasant and helpful so overall it was a good experience. Would stay again.
"Centrally located hotel with parking"
Anon, stayed: July 2024 Old hotel which is in good central location. Plenty of parking, although 10 charge. Room was clean, comfortable bed but old fashioned furniture. Bathroom was very poor layout and it we had been staying longer than one night I would have asked to change. We ate breakfast and evening meal, both of which were good quality, especially the desserts at dinner. Nice outside seating area which was lovely to be able to sit outside and enjoy the good weather.
