We were given this hotel break as part of a retirement gift for my husband.

Elaine B, Lincs, stayed: August 2024 The hotel is lovely. Great location, great buffet breakfast and has history too as Agatha Christie stayed there. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
"Weekend stay"
Ann, Lancashire, stayed: August 2024 Stayed here 9/10 August as a base for an event we were attending . Great location and only 5 minute walk to the centre. Couldn't get a dinner reservation for the Friday but had a restaurant recommend and we were greatly impressed. The hotel although. Little dated was spotless and comfortable. Great breakfast buffet style. Parking is an additional fee of 10 per day.
"Dissapointed"
JC, Lancashire, stayed: August 2024 Lovely building, but seen better days. Tired and needs refurb. Vey basic ingredients for dinner and breakfast. Mold in bathroom. Towels and bedding clean, but bed not comfortable rooms were spacious. . The bar area was fine and coffee good. Really could not recommend this hotel. Sorry.
