The lift was out of order so we got taken to our third floor room in a very grubby service lift. Staff did apologise and said it was going to be repaired. The floor in the bed room had very squeaky boards under the carpet. The net curtains were grubby and ripped. We had a side view above the coach stop and staff smoked outside. The kettle was placed on a tray with no plug nearby so had to plug kettle in next to the TV which didn t feel safe. Reception was not visibly manned at all times so people were coming and going without question. It was not pointed out to us at breakfast that there was a choice. It would have been nice to have fresh fruit salad every day. Bread and pastries were fresh. Cooked food could have been warmer.
