The Grange was an excellent choice for a two night stay. It is very close to Sherborne which is a delightful town with two castles and an abbey. The hotel is comfortable and welcoming and is in a quiet location with very pretty gardens. Our room was spacious and well equipped with a sofa and a lovely bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a superb breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals and a choice of cooked breakfasts,. We stayed through Off Peak Luxury and were given a welcome drink of Prosecco before dinner as well as canapes. The lounge area was very cosy and the open fire was lit for us after dinner. The dinner was very tasty. I would recommend this hotel.

Wouldn't stay again. Bed extremely uncomfortable. Room dusty, needs a deep clean. I suffer allergys and could not stop sneezing. Tea/coffee not the nicest. Never liked clipper products. Scrambled egg not cooked to my wife's liking, rather soggy. Dead atmosphere. No low background music. Felt uncomfortable staying here.
