Disabled Access
The Clarendon is a listed period building dating from the C18. This means that they have to accommodate its Georgian and Victorian design.
Access to the hotel is via steps from street level to the front door, however they are able to provide a wheelchair ramp for access to the building and restaurant. The bedrooms are split over three floors with many steps, so if stairs are a struggle let us know when booking so we can reserve a lower level room as the lift only goes up to the 2nd floor.
Child Policy
Children are charged at £20 per child per night to include breakfast.
Dogs Policy
The wide open space of the Heath just outside the front door is perfect for your four legged friends, and The Clarendon is very happy to welcome your fur baby when you come to stay.
Open to dogs all year round there are over 200 acres of heathland to explore on Blackheath, and beyond that, beautiful Royal Greenwich Park – and Blackheath Village is also home to many dog friendly businesses.
As you'd expect, they do have a few rules! They allow a maximum of two dogs per room, and can also accommodate well behaved cats. They charge £7.50 per dog per night, please let us know if you would like to bring your pooch so availability can be checked before arrival.
Well behaved dogs are welcome on a lead in all the public areas, with the exception of the restaurant and Goffers. Dogs aren't allowed on the furniture, including the beds, and only allowed in certain rooms – so do check with reception if you are unsure. If your dog is naughty and causes any damage you will be liable, and if they are noisy we will ask you to deal with that. They do reserve the right to ask any rule breakers to be removed from the hotel at any time.
