The weather was glorious for our 3 days in the Lakes so The Belsfield looked especially stunning on the hillside. We especially appreciated the little extras included in our package; 2 free drinks, a boat trip on Windermere and a delicious dinner on our first night. Well worth booking a room overlooking the lake.

We stayed for 2 nights in a lake view room that was spotlessly clean & had a lake view. Due to Covid restricting the menus was limited which we were only told about 2 deys before the stay, this was very disappointing as we were looking fine dining. The service was ok in the restaurant , our waiter couldn t pour wine properly & spilled red wine over the table , was a bit frantic in there on one night as there was a wedding going on and staff were stretched (Seems to be the case everywhere though, as had the same thing in another hotel).
