I stayed at South Lodge with my daughter for a 2 day spa break. It was wonderful. Our room was exquisite and comfortable with a traditional bedroom, beautiful modern bathroom and splendid views of the spacious grounds. The staff were lovely and friendly and our spa treatments were wonderfully relaxing, although a bit pricey.
I even phoned down for some bubble bath And the lovely receptionist delivered some to our room without delay and it was outstanding!
The food in the Botanica was another level of excellence and the chef even gave us a copy of his recipe for one of the starters.
We ve promised ourselves a break there every year now.
