"Definitely not luxury"

LW, Warwickshire, stayed: September 2026

No clothes hangers in wardrobe, extremely long walk to our particular room, but no advice given by check in staff, apparently rooms not serviced on stays less than 3 nights, so in our case the soap ran out and hospitality tray not replenished! The dispenser in the shower was awful and surrounded by black mouldy stuff as were the tiles and shower base. We didn t particularly like the industrial style metal and concrete furniture. The staff in the restaurant were pleasant.

"A mixed experience- overall I wouldn't come back."

We stayed for two nights, in a very nice and unusual room. The room was the best part- though we received no service/cleaning during our stay, and had to ask twice for in-room toiletries (the dispenser being empty). The service from the reception staff member was excellent, but the rest of the 'customer service' was very poor. Restaurant service and food very very poor. Bar staff OK.

The hotel itself is beautiful, however the amenities within the room are lacking sadly. The air conditioning blew out hot air, this was looked at by staff and rectified temporarily then returned to blowing heat out all night. The room itself was very basic and would benefit from a lick of paint.

Nice break but strange in some sense as hotel operated on a pay as you go - drinks obtained or difference in value from dinner voucher obtained on booking to value of meal had to be settled at that moment.
