"A mixed experience- overall I wouldn't come back."
LB, Shropshire, stayed: July 2026 We stayed for two nights, in a very nice and unusual room. The room was the best part- though we received no service/cleaning during our stay, and had to ask twice for in-room toiletries (the dispenser being empty). The service from the reception staff member was excellent, but the rest of the 'customer service' was very poor. Restaurant service and food very very poor. Bar staff OK.
"Underwhelming"
Anon, stayed: May 2026 The hotel itself is beautiful, however the amenities within the room are lacking sadly. The air conditioning blew out hot air, this was looked at by staff and rectified temporarily then returned to blowing heat out all night. The room itself was very basic and would benefit from a lick of paint.
"Don t even bother"
Anon, stayed: May 2026 Firstly, you can book cheaper rates directly through the hotel website, so don t waste your time booking threw off peak luxury as you ll get ripped off.
"Recent Stay."
Anon, stayed: February 2026 Nice break but strange in some sense as hotel operated on a pay as you go - drinks obtained or difference in value from dinner voucher obtained on booking to value of meal had to be settled at that moment.
