The main bathroom was once an old pigeon house – not something you get to write all that often – but today it's the very vision of relaxation with its cast iron bathtub.When you're in the mood to see more of this beautiful landscape, there are ample walking routes in the surrounding national park, as well as opportunities for everything from climbing, paragliding, canoeing, rafting and horseback riding.
The shores of Lake of Sainte-Croix are only a short drive away if you fancy pootling about in a boat or splashing about in the invitingly blue waters.

The home is spread across three levels with no bedrooms on the ground floor. There's private parking available on the premises – guests should be aware that the home is accessed via a dirt road. The fireplaces are only decorative. Your host can provide a baby bed for free upon request. The swimming pool is unheated and only available for use between May and September. Children need to be supervised in the garden as there are stone walls and a large forest nearby
