Wonderful Hotel

My husband and myself enjoyed a lovely stay. The room was very clean and we enjoyed tea and coffee in the room. The room was very peaceful. The staff were very helpful in every aspect. Our one thing we felt could be better was the evening meal and service there. The food in our opinion was fine but nothing wonderful. I ordered the Pate which certainly appeared shop bought rather than home made. My husband ordered prawns and all was underwhelming, with him counting how many prawns and not a lot else he received. My husband ordered Linguine and again very basic and I ordered a Burger with fries. Again fine but just ok.
Having said that the breakfast full English was very nice, not oily and far nicer than the evening meal.
