We enjoyed an excellent three day break to which both the hotel and weather contributed. The room we were first shown would not have been satisfactory. This was immediately understood and we were offered a fully accessible room which was one of the best we have come across. Blue badge parking on site was extremely helpful, and the location was ideal.

A great hotel, and very welcoming. The rooms are fantastic, they are spacious, airy and very comfortable. The restaurant & bar areas are comfortable and the food in the restaurant is fantastic. This is our 3rd or 4th visit to Poets House, and we will definitely be returning in the future.

We stayed here for three nights and must say this is one of the best and friendly hotels ever stopped in.When we arrived my Wife was unwell but the Manager and her colleagues pulled out all the stops to help us.The kindness shown to us both was really lovely, and we would recommend Poets House highly.
