"Relaxing"
Giles, North Yorkshire, stayed: August 2026 On arrival we self serviced our arrival and card entry which went swimmingly however we were bikked for 7 to eat but dueto some walk in guests asked if we could wait 30 mins, this was not a problem as we had a lovely drink at the bar.
"John and Linda"
JG, Warwickshire, stayed: July 2026 Overall a pleasant stay. We agree with the current housekeeping policy of not changing bed linen and towels daily, for short stays this is not necessary. However this policy falls short as waste bins are not emptied or toilet paper and tea making facilities not replenished. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was of a clean and tidy standard.
"Exceeded expectations"
Anon, stayed: July 2026 Some excellent staff here: very professional and friendly.
"Great location"
Jan M, worcs, stayed: June 2026 We loved this hotel. We used it as a base for visiting National Trust places and were spoiled for choice. We chose to eat in the restaurant each evening as the food was so good. There was a great choice for breakfast. And the pillows were super comfy.
"Break in Sheffield"
AB, North Yorkshire, stayed: June 2026 Overall very pleased with our visit. Staff were wonderful. One negative question why is the room the furthest away from main building. As a disabled person you feel like a second class guest but who still pays the same as everyone else.
