"Excellent overnight stay"

My wife and I were upgraded to a Junior Suite on arrival, which came as a pleasant surprise. The staff at Mar Hall were friendly and helpful, so no complaints. We also enjoyed dinner in the Gourmet Restaurant + breakfast the following morning. Overall, it was a nice relaxing short break, and would like to visit this hotel again in the future.

TM, Fife, stayed: May 2026 We enjoyed a lovely stay in Mar Hall. Booked for 1 night on dinner bed and breakfast deal. Enjoyed it so much, we added on another night. Staff so attentive, food delicious. We had a classic room - it was spotless and so comfortable.Spa was great, comfy loungers to relax the day away. Would not hesitate to stay again.
"A welcome gift"
William M, Ayrshire, stayed: June 2026 From arriving at Marr Hall with it,s beautiful grounds and scenery, we were made to feel so very welcome by the courteous staff. From the reception, porters, dining and spa staff we were so well cared for during our stay. The bedroom was luxurious, spotless clean and lots of little treats like chocolates! We came away feeling refreshed and relaxed after the most enjoyable stay. Highly recommend.

Some staff seemed to be annoyed. Soup of the day was the same for 3 days in a row. We were there at the beginning of Nov, so i guess out of season. Otherwise everything was good. However, i wouldn't stay there longer than 2 nights - it gets boring.
