"Excellent spa break at Lion Quays"

The staff were warm and welcoming on arrival and helpful when we rang prior to our stay with some queries. Lovely rooms with canal views, romantic spa stay was good value, with a welcome bottle of champagne. Food in the restaurant was good although exceptionally busy. Good choice of foods and drink. Lovely spa although it s looking a little tired in places. We really enjoyed our stay and had a great family get together with 3 rooms and somewhere to leave our bikes and tandem as we cycle there every year from Staffordshire. Thanks to all staff for making g it such a pleasant experience and so relaxing and enjoyable.

"Lovely Romantic Getaway"
Adrian H, Cheshire, stayed: July 2026 Added an additional night to a gift one night dinner and breakfast stay to celebrate an anniversary. Great hotel to balance time together with gym and spa sessions, as were both fitness enthusiasts. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Meals were good and the Champagne in the room added that romantic touch. Looking forward to a repeat visit, not in a heatwave!
