Been to this hotel several times. Evening meal I felt let stay down. The menu was limited. Breakfast was excellent and the swimming pool, jacuzzi. Sauna were great. Would stay again but on bed and breakfast basis only.

"Break away"

Lots of positives but I felt the hotel let itself down with a few issues. We were staying for 3 nights during the week and in this time there were 2 functions on. A wedding and a party, they all looked fun but my problem was how these encroached on our stay. On arrival the entrance/bar/lounge was packed with the party guests. We could not sit in lounge or get to bar as the party had taken over this area even though they obviously had a function room. The wedding on Thursday day/night took over bar area so when ordering drinks at evening meal took over half an hour to arrive, my meal was nearly finished. Disappointed

Great location breakfast was lovely. The supervisor on reception was amazing with great customer service skills. However, the hotel needs some TLC the restaurant and tall area were in serious need of cleaning painting and new furniture.

"Coastal calamity."

Excellent location on Hayling Island surround by pretty coastal scenery, however this is neither a luxury hotel or a resort by anyone s standards. The best thing about this establishment is the dining, offering excellent food options. The bar lounge area is also contemporary and relaxing. But the maintenance of the gardens and restaurant is at best shabby and worst, neglected and shocking. Peeling paint, peeling chair upholstery on several chairs in the restaurant which totally negates the overall dining experience. Our room was little better than a budget chain hotel room. Such a shame as this should be a flagship hotel in a small supposed boutique chain. Management are well aware of these issues and are suitably apologetic. But that s not good enough. If you are planning to stay as we were, for a special occasion you may be bitterly disappointed with the result as we were.

At first impression the exterior looked dated but inside was luxurious. The food was wonderful and staff very helpful when we had a problem with our safe . Pool was lovely .
