"Relaxing romantic mini break"

We enjoyed a very relaxing two night stay. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was gorgeous and the food delicious. They also supplied fantastic weather!

Two nights here - never stayed before. Nice, spacious room, would have been improved by a walk in shower. Comfortable bed, hard pillows which were replaced. Decent food for what we paid - 32 for two course dinner. Wonderfully helpful and pleasant staff. Lovely grounds to walk in. Overall, a good experience and excellent value

CB, North Yorkshire, stayed: June 2026 We booked a suite for a special occasion. We were disappointed in the tiredness of the room and the bathroom. They both needed updating.The decoration left a lot to be desired for the money we had paid. Chipped paintwork all round. The sink was blocked and although it was reported and someone had purportedly fixed it, it remained blocked. No one seemed to have checked that it was working. The bed was clean and comfortable and the gardens outside were lovely. The staff were all pleasant and welcoming.
