We booked a suite for a special occasion. We were disappointed in the tiredness of the room and the bathroom. They both needed updating.The decoration left a lot to be desired for the money we had paid. Chipped paintwork all round. The sink was blocked and although it was reported and someone had purportedly fixed it, it remained blocked. No one seemed to have checked that it was working. The bed was clean and comfortable and the gardens outside were lovely. The staff were all pleasant and welcoming.

I would stay again because it is like a retreat, tucked away, quiet and peaceful. However I wouldn t be in a hurry to pay out for a suite. It wasn t worth the extra money paid.
