We had been given a gift voucher for "offpeakluxury.com" and as we were planning a visit to Hyde Hall Gardens near Chelmsford we found Down Hall Hotel was handy for this.
So we booked 2 nights. Upon arrival we were greeted with a bottle of Champagne in our well appointed room.
We ate both evenings in the Grill Room restaurant at the hotel. The food was very good and the staff very attentive.
Our stay was very enjoyable.
