Enjoyable trip, slight room for improvement

Slightly disappointed by a few things. 1 being that for dinner, the options included (no supplement) were very sub par. My partner had a scotch egg and what was apparently leeks with burrata. I guess you must have ran out of Leeks as it was on 3 very tired looking spring onions.
The other, we had a bottle of 'sparkling wine' in our room, rather than the ' 52 Champagne' that we had paid for.
Lovely grounds, great service bar the above.

In regards to the Champagne, please accept our apologies for the inconvenience; we did substitute for our wonderful bottle of English Sparkling Wine as we did not have the Champagne at the time. We have since had the delivery of our Champagne which I am sure you will love, so please come and enjoy it on your return.
