The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. It is a beautiful old house which is very charming and set in glorious grounds with a stunning view out along the river Thames towards Henley. The food was excellent although the menu was virtually identical to when we visited earlier in the year. A little more seasonality would have been nice. The swimming pool is wonderful, a sensible size for a good swim and virtually deserted. We will definitely be returning at some point in the not too distant future.
