We ve stayed at the Danesfield at least 5 or six times - so no surprise it s probably our favourite hotel for a short break. Great spa, good food, excellent service, lovely grounds and very convenient location. Only downside this time was our choice of a classic room which was a bit cramped - and the sloping ceiling and small window emphasised this feeling. We ve had much more spacious room in the past so won t opt for a classic again.
