High standard country house hotel with beautiful garden

Beautiful country house hotel with amazing, really well kept large garden with many beautiful romantic corners to sit and relax.
One downside is that you can t get down to the Thames from the hotel, access is a short drive away.
The restaurant was good, small 2 or 3 course menu, has a vegan/vegetarian menu but it was unclear which dishes were which.
Staff were welcoming and friendly, vegan breakfast options could be better and staff should be trained better knowing what is vegan and what isn t.
Even though we stated in our reservation before we came that one person is vegan, the hotel was unaware and we informed the hotel again. Despite this staff and breakfast couldn t tell us what vegan options were available - apart from weetabix.
Overall we had a nice stay and would come again.
