Disappointing service in the restaurant

The break was to celebrate my husband s birthday
Unfortunately our stay was spoilt by the service in the restaurant for dinner - we had to fill our own wine glasses,only got one glass of water and offered no coffee
The food was good and they gave us a beautifullly decorated plate with truffles to celebrate his birthday but they were just dumped on the table while we were still eating dessert
The table was full on speedy or non existent- such a shame as the rest was very enjoyable but the meal was supposed to have been the main reason for the visit
