"Springtime at Cragwood Country House Hotel"

The setting for this hotel is fantastic. The lovely gardens extend right down to Windermere lake. There is a jetty next door at Brockhole where you can pick up the motor launch to Windermere, Ambleside or Wray castle.

We were upgraded to a lovely garden room, the evening meals, all 5 courses, were delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A lovely hotel with grounds going down to the lake. A great relaxing break away. We will return!
