"Room 204 - Daily Telegraph offer"
AP, Hampshire, stayed: April 2026 Our 3rd time here and were impressed with the improvements to the bar and restaurant. Our room and bathroom were spacious. Access to a larger than normal balcony was a surprise. Sadly we had a few issues: coffee machine needed some instructions ie should we put in milk?; fresh milk a bonus but not enough; only tea and coffee available; no morning biscuits apart from the chef welcome pack on first day; at night the stairs we re dangerous in the dark (some kind of dull lighting on steps required); cupboard but no drawers. A fridge would be a bonus.
4 star review
Robert C, Oxfordshire, stayed: April 2026 This was our first stay in an hotel in Cirencester and we were extremely impressed. The Room, overlooking the street was excellent, very roomy, ensuite and beautifully furnished. The service in the Restaurant was excellent. unfortunately same could not be said for clearance of the small tables - rather difficult to eat with empty breakfast plates and cereal dishes cluttering up the table !
"Kings head cirencester"
Anon, stayed: March 2026 Such a lovely hotel and all the staff were welcoming and polite. There is no parking but guests can drop off luggage on the double yellow right outside the door. Pay and display parking available around the town, but go out of the centre and walk back for free! Booking was easy and we enjoyed our meal deal. Will go again for sure as the location was perfect for a tour of the Cotswolds overall
"Wonderful staff"
Valerie, stayed: April 2025 My first visit to the hotel. A lovely place with really amazing staff, helpful, friendly and wanting to make your stay memorable. We ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and the food was superb and the waiters and waitresses were excellent. Lovely room overlooking the abbey. Would recommend this hotel to everyone, we were welcomed so well and every contact with every member of staff was extremely positive. Thank you for a wonderful stay
