The view of the hotel from the car park and the trip over on the sea tractor is the exciting start of your visit. The hotel itself is like stepping into a glamorous past, the staff are very welcoming and helpful, the art deco decor fabulous. We ate in the main dining room, very nice food and a great pianist. The cocktails are also worth a mention. Rooms are comfortable and themed. The island is fun to explore with fab views. It is expensive and the only criticism I have was the bathroom amenities with those large containers of shampoo etc attached to the wall .not great for such an expensive hotel trying to reimagine times past.
