"Disappointing"

We were extremely disappointed with our experience, particularly because this was a landmark 60th birthday present from my daughter and something we had been really looking forward to.

TK, Dorset, stayed: May 2026 Stayed here with my daughter for a little spa break before her wedding. The hotel is located in the beautiful New Forest and is set in lovely grounds. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. They kindly upgraded our room which was large and very comfortable. The spa area is really good and the restaurant is excellent. We would definitely visit again and have no hesitation in recommending to others.

Jennifer, Buckinghamshire, stayed: July 2025 I booked two rooms, one Superior for my son and granddaughter and a Standard for myself and husband. Obviously the Superior, which cost more, was far better but the Standard was very small with no view and the bed was well kicked all around the base so a bit disappointing.

Barbara, East Sussex, stayed: June 2025 A lovely stay in a lovely hotel, in a beautiful setting with excellent staff. Two swimming pools, one inside and one outside, both excellent. There was a huge choice of food at a help-yourself buffet breakfast but the downside on a couple of mornings was not keeping the hot food replenished. The 2-AA rosette rating for the restaurant was not quite that standard, or at least not consistently.
