"Lovely country hotel in a good location"

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in a good location. We spent a great day out exploring the Yorkshire Sculpture Park which is only 10 minutes drive away.

Jill and Rich Reeth, stayed: August 2026 We booked a last-minute overnight stay on the night prior to us attending a funeral nearby. We had a great package deal which included gin spritz cocktails on arrival, bottle of wine in the room, dinner, bed and breakfast. On arrival we found we d been upgraded from the Lakeside annex rooms to one of the bedrooms in the main hotel. The room was not massive but had everything we needed with a nice view across the lawns. The staff were lovely, very welcoming, helpful. The food was delicious. We did not get to sample the full English breakfast as we were still full from the night before so just had a bowl of their lovely porridge.

BM, West Yorkshire, stayed: August 2026 There was 6 of us who stayed to celebrate a friends birthday. Excellent value for money and all enjoyed the stay. The evening meal was very good, enjoyed by all and a delicious breakfast. It was just a bit chilly in the restaurant for breakfast.
