Went to the Wood Norton for a 2 night relaxing break. It appeared to be more suited to adults but there were several noisy young children in the restaurant in the evening. This spoilt the ambience for a quiet relaxing meal. The food was good quality but very expensive, 18 for an underwhelming prawn cocktail is excessive. Cooked breakfast was ok but continental lacked fresh berries, cheese/ham etc. An absolute bun fight for the one slow coffee machine! Have been to far superior 4 star hotels.
