Great location with a good welcome

We stayed two nights in twin double room on the top floor both breakfast and the evening dinner were good and the chef and serving staff were top class. Very helpful and polite staff throughout. The bedroom was okay, if feeling a little small and in needs of a bit of an update. We would not say it was four star, more like 3* but the dining hall was impressive, if again in need of a refresh. Unfortunately the parking spaces were all lost to contractors erecting tents for an event so had to park a few streets away for free parking. Sadly offpeakluxury who we booked through didn t tell us. The location was excellent for the city centre, and the very good heritage park nearby. Harrogate is a lovely town to explore. We would stay again but pay for a more expensive room. Ours had no aircon and it was a heatwave.
