We enjoyed our stay at The George and were impressed by the cooked to order breakfast which we managed 2 days out of 3. Staff were friendly and helpful.
We were not convinced however that The George was good value for money and a special offer from Off Peak Luxury at 300 per night. There was no welcoming drink and we had to make do with coffee and biscuits in our room. Our understanding was that there would be a reduction of 50 each night on our evening meal. however this only applied for one night! Our room was comfortable but not luxurious and there was no fridge or safe.
