Beautiful little hotel with awarding winning restaurant

We had a wonderful stay at The Crown & Thistle with some friends. It was the perfect place to celebrate our joint 50th birthdays. From the moment we arrived, the staff could not have been more welcoming and attentive. The rooms were all individual and charming and had been carefully thought out to have everything that we needed. The beds were comfortable and there were luxury toiletries available in the bathrooms. The housekeeping team were very helpful and serviced the room each day.
There is a lovely little pub on site which we enjoyed, but the icing on the cake for us was the amazing restaurant. We had breakfast and dinner there on both of the days we stayed and everything was absolutely delicious. The menu was varied, with plenty of opportunities for the vegetarians in our party as well.
We had a most enjoyable stay and we would love to come back and visit again soon.
