The grounds
The 500 acres of beautiful Leicestershire countryside that surround the estate are the perfect setting for a wide number of activities with an experienced team at Stapleford Park to guide you in your chosen country pursuits, so you're always in safe hands. There's plenty to keep all age groups busy too; the ‘Falconer's Walk' is a particular favourite with younger house guests and members.
It is easy to picture Stapleford Park's glorious estate in centuries past; house guests striding out for the hunt or game shooting. Today the more sedate country pursuits of archery, falconry and clay pigeon shooting are available for guests to enjoy, enveloped by 500 acres of some of Lancelot Brown's finest landscape.
Other Information
Make the most of your stay at Stapleford Park and join them from 11.00 a.m. onwards to enjoy the Spa facilities (treatments must be booked in advance), take a stroll around the grounds, relax in the lounge areas with an Afternoon Tea or have some lunch. Likewise on your departure day, do not feel the need to rush off, why not leave your luggage with one of the Butlers and remain their guest for the day.
Dogs Policy
Well behaved dogs are welcome at Stapleford. They are permitted in all public rooms on a lead, but not in any of the dining rooms. Dogs are allowed in selected bedrooms, please call us to check availability. Please do not leave your pooch unattended in your bedroom. There is a charge £20.00 per night, per dog.
