My husband and I were lucky enough to receive an upgrade and had a wonderful time in the lap of luxury. It was a special occasion and our time at South Lodge was very much enjoyed and provided a wonderful start to the Christmas holiday period. It will also provide some wonderful memories to help us through our very busy and stressful lives.

All the staff made us feel welcome and special, nothing was too much bother. Can't wait to return.

We came here on a Sunday night package for our 25th wedding anniversary present from friends.  It was great from start to finish and the room was out of this world, stayed in Lady Clementine.  All the staff were lovely, couldn't fault it, would definitely go back.

We had a amazing night at south lodge celebrating a special occasions. Everything was of a high standard but the hotel still managed to have a really relaxed feel. The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. We were upgraded to an amazing suite which had a spa bath which opened up to our own garden area. We could not have imagined the room would be so beautiful. Being in the kitchen watching the chefs in the michelin restaurant is a great experience. We imagined it may have been hot and stressful but they appeared cool, calm and collected and were very friendly when serving the dishes and explaining what we were about to eat. We have already booked a surprise treat for family to stay and hope to return again in the future ourselves.
