Firstly, you can book cheaper rates directly through the hotel website, so don t waste your time booking threw off peak luxury as you ll get ripped off.
Second, we chose the hotel because it s dog friendly. No member of staff in the hotel however was friendly towards dogs. We were shoved in a back part of the hotel, there was no luxury feeling about this. There were cobwebs all over the room and dust everywhere (I have pictures to prove it). We were placed near workers (because you can only use the cheap rooms with dogs), so we got woken by noisey work men at 0530 both mornings. The staff were super unhelpful and didn t provide any information on where dogs could go during our stay (apart from not in the restaurant - no alternative given).
The manager came out to talk to me at one point because off peak luxury had overcharged on the dog fair - I genuinely thought I was being told off, as what he was meant to tell me is I was getting money back via off peak luxury !
This was such a let down as the venue (from the front only) appears stunning.
Even the spa was dirty; unclean Floors, pools full of grit and grime in the steam room plug.
