This bright, modern home exudes luxury from every fibre and feature and it sits just fifty metres from Poole’s pretty harbour. Beach days are a short walk away, with the long stretch of sand at Shore Road Beach a six-minute stroll away, so you can pop back home if you’ve forgotten the sunscreen. Your proximity to the sea is on display in the master bedroom, with views out over the ocean from a wall of windows.
Out the back, you’ll find a balcony for sunbathing and a ground-level terrace is set up for barbecues in the evening. But it’s the ultra-plush living room in dove-grey and dusky pink velvet that really caught our eye. A long fireplace runs the length of the wall, reminiscent of a mid-century entertainers pad in luxe LA.
The kitchen is in striking monochrome, where sleek minimalism reigns supreme, yet every appliance and mod-con for self-catering is hidden behind cabinets, and there are two wine fridges tucked into the island. Floor the ceiling windows let in plenty of seaside sunshine, and Poole’s myriad seafood restaurants and ocean-side bars are at your fingertips here.

Home truths
The sixth bedroom is a playroom with a set of bunkbeds so would be best suited to children. The fifth bedroom can be set up as a king room or twin room, just ask your host. There is room for up to three cars on the gated driveway. Your host can provide a cot, high chair, baby bath, stair gates and baby monitor for infants, just ask. Beach towels, umbrellas and beach blankets are provided so don't worry if you forget to pack them. The lagoon at the bottom of the road is perfect for kite surfing so can be windy
