You can spend entire days hiking the patchwork of fields and farms crisscrossed by a web of brooks.

However, if you want more variety, a five-minute drive will take you to nearby Ramsbottom, where you'll have a much wider choice of cafes, restaurants, and food shops.
A thirty-minute drive will have you in central Manchester, in the heart of all that the city has to offer. In the evening, fill the bathtub and feel the relaxation wash over you.

Home truths
You will need a car to get around and make the most of your stay. Luckily, the drive by the house has parking space for up to five vehicles.. There are three bedrooms but only one full bathroom, so guests will have to share.. Dogs are welcome, however, the property isn’t fenced off, so you might want to keep an eye on your four-legged companions.. Expect to see some signs of general wear and tear here – some guests felt the kitchen facilities could benefit from an upgrade.. Water pressure can be limited at times.
