La Mernaz is a quiet residential pocket of Morzine rather than the village centre – you're a five-minute drive from the main shops, restaurants, and après-ski. If you'd rather not drive each evening, the free ski bus is your best bet. If you're travelling with a little one, your host can provide a cot. It's worth requesting this in advance to make sure everything is ready for your arrival. You'll have two covered parking spots in the garage here. A car is handy for reaching the village centre or the Téléphérique de Nyon, both a short drive away.
