A 15th-century manor house set in the Chiltern Hills, this Grade II-listed home carries centuries of life in every room. We love the mural wallpaper, ancient inglenook fireplace, and formal dining room that turns every meal into an occasion. The walled pool garden, shaded by cedar trees, is a world apart from the lawns beyond it.
When the group spreads out, there's a games barn for larger gatherings and a TV snug with a woodburner for quieter evenings. Two bedrooms are also located in a separate annexe, making it ideal for those who prefer a bit more privacy. This is a large, multi-building estate – the main farmhouse, annexe, and barn are separate structures, so you'll be moving between buildings to use all the spaces on offer.. Bedroom four has a mezzanine level sleeping two additional guests – ideal for children or younger travellers, but worth noting that the space is open to the room below rather than a fully enclosed bedroom.. Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. Parking is available.
