Built in 1504, this elegant Tudor manor is everything we dream of in a Devon retreat. The first to be built in the village, the home has beautifully evolved – renovated to a high standard of discerning luxury. Sleeping up to fourteen across the main home and the original barn, now turned into a self-contained cottage, we could spend all day here, soaking in the bath, drinking tea outdoors, and settling in by the log burner.
But don’t sleep on the outdoors – you’re directly on the historic Jurassic Coast, and within close reach of some of Devon’s finest nature and postcard villages.

There’s private driveway parking available here.. At full occupancy, four guests will sleep in the self-contained annex – two on a double bed and two on a sofa bed. This separate space offers a little extra privacy for those guests.. This home has designated quiet hours from 11pm to 7am, so you’ll need to keep noise levels down during this time.. If you're travelling by train, Axminster is the nearest station, around a twenty-minute drive away.
