The car park is located around 100m downhill from the chalet. In winter, the road can be slippery, so take extra care when carrying luggage or ski equipment between the two.. While the chalet is close to the village, the Portes du Soleil is spread out – we recommend hiring a car to make the most of the area.. Two of the ground-floor bedrooms are connected rooms – you'll need to pass through one to reach the other, so they work best for members of the same group who are happy with a little less separation.. The mezzanine bedroom sits open above the living room with no door between them, so any noise from below will carry up – worth bearing in mind if you're a light sleeper or plan late evenings downstairs.. A complimentary mid-stay cleaning service is included for stays of 14 nights or more.. As is common in France, some of the toilets are separate from the bathroom.
