We were greeted by a lovely reception lady made to feel welcomed our room was amazing with a complimentary champagne as it was my 70 th a lovely touch . Our complimentary team tea was a disappointment my husbands gluten free scone ( one) was a tad small as I had 2 scones normal o clotted cream just whipped cream a disappointment . Our main meal was excellant a sting in the tail was the price of a bowl of soup 20 each never worth the 20. It overall we enjoyed our stay in the magnificent house. Not somewhere where we would visit again as it was too expensive for us but enjoyed the house .
