As an observation the hotel had been very luxurious in the past but some areas of it are now rather shabby.
My main issue was that on arrival we were told that we could not check in & they needed to get the manager. In fairness we weren t kept waiting long & the manager apologised saying that they had an issue with off peak luxury who owed them a lot of money. But as our booking had been paid we were okay. This made me feel very uncomfortable as to what I would have done.
Also the extras bottle of wine, muffins were not in the room and I had to go back to reception and ask. In addition the discount on wine for 2nd night was not added and I had to ask for new bill
