A mixed blessing

Our stay at Egypt Mill was mixed. We had originally booked a stay at Sudbury House through
offpeakluxury,com only to be told after our booking that the hotel was closed on our selected date. We rebooked another date which was accepted, then were told a week before our stay that the hotel could not honour our booking. As a result we transferred our booking to Egypt Mill, but as our money had not been transferred we were charged again - later refunded, though our friends paid TWICE before the money was refunded. All in all a mixed experience, but we enjoyed our stay, found the food excellent and good value and the staff friendly and helpful.
We would not use offpeakluxury again.

Hello, we are sorry for these issues. As soon as you let us know we looked at the system and rectified the issue. You were both fully refunded for the overpayment as soon as we could.
We are so glad that you enjoyed everything else with us. We are truly a unique destination.
