Disappointing reception

A good hotel which gave us a comfortable stay. The location is lovely and is perfect for golfers which neither of us are to be fair. I had a relaxing swim whilst my husband checked out the sauna. These facilities did not disappoint. Our room was comfortable and all very clean. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious, very well prepared and could not be faulted.
Overall a very good stay which was let down by a chilly welcome on check-in. Reception staff might benefit from a reminder that first impressions really are very important.
