A good facility with excellent service

The hotel is a 1970 s-80 s style building so isn t charming but it s well looked after and the staff are excellent. The room (Hill Room) was large and comfortable but a bit bland. The advertised tennis courts are in poor repair which is a shame. Spa is lovely, treatments v good. The health club is ok-a bit dated, pool adequate. The restaurant is the star of the show. Really excellent, way better than a standard hotel restaurant. It was a relaxing weekend, golf looked good (we only used yhe driving range), and we enjoyed our stay.
